Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Cue is designed to turn content you choose to share into concrete tasks. Privacy is part of that design: content shared with Cue is processed on your device using Apple Intelligence. Cue does not require its own servers or a Cue cloud account to analyze that content.

This Privacy Policy explains how Cue handles information when you use the app.

1. Who We Are

Cue is provided by:

onthr.ee - André Goldmann
Windscheidstr. 31
04277 Leipzig
Deutschland
E-Mail: policy@baskett.app

For questions about this Privacy Policy or the handling of your information, contact us at policy@baskett.app.

2. Content You Share With Cue

Cue only processes content that you deliberately provide to the app.

Depending on how you use Cue, this may include:

text copied or pasted into Cue;

content shared through the iOS Share Sheet;

messages or other text you choose to share;

notes and documents you choose to share;

screenshots and images you choose to share;

content passed to Cue through Apple Shortcuts; and

multiple pieces of content you choose to provide together as context.

Cue analyzes this content to identify possible tasks and relevant information such as next actions, people, dates, times, context, conditions, and related details.

Cue does not independently read or monitor your messages, chats, notes, or other content. Content is processed only when you choose to provide it to Cue.

3. On-Device Processing

Content shared with Cue for task analysis is processed using Apple Intelligence on your device.

Cue does not operate its own servers or cloud accounts for this analysis. The content you provide for analysis is not sent to Cue servers for the purpose of extracting tasks.

Your conversations stay on your device while Cue analyzes them.

Apple technologies used by Cue may be subject to Apple's own terms and privacy practices. For information about how Apple handles data through its operating systems and services, please refer to Apple's privacy information.

4. Tasks and Task Details

Cue can turn shared content into suggested tasks. These suggestions may include information such as:

task titles;

notes;

dates and times;

people or objects mentioned in the provided content; and

other context relevant to completing the task.

You can review and edit these suggestions before sending them elsewhere. You can also add or remove tasks and change their titles, notes, dates, or times.

Cue suggests. You decide what gets sent.

5. Exporting Tasks to Other Apps

Cue can send tasks to supported task-management apps and destinations, including:

Apple Reminders;

Things;

OmniFocus; and

the system clipboard.

When you choose to export a task, the information required for that export is passed to the destination you selected.

For example, depending on the destination, this may include the task title, notes, scheduled date, due date, due time, or selected list.

Once information has been transferred to another app or service, its handling is governed by that app or service and its respective privacy policy. Cue does not control how third-party apps handle information after you choose to send it to them.

6. Apple Shortcuts

Cue provides an “Open text in Cue” action for Apple Shortcuts.

If you use this action, text provided by your shortcut is passed to Cue so that you can process it in the app. What information is passed depends on the shortcut you create or use.

Cue does not independently access content through Shortcuts. The content must be provided to Cue as part of the shortcut you run.

7. Data Collection

Cue does not collect the content you share with the app for task analysis on Cue-operated servers.

8. Analytics and Diagnostics

If Cue does not use developer-operated analytics or diagnostic services:

Cue does not use third-party analytics services to track how you use the app.

Information collected independently by Apple through the App Store, iOS, or optional diagnostics is governed by Apple's privacy practices and your device settings.

9. Purchases and the App Store

If Cue offers purchases or subscriptions through Apple's App Store, those transactions are processed by Apple.

Cue does not receive your complete payment-card information from Apple. Apple may provide information necessary to manage purchases and entitlements in accordance with Apple's policies.

10. Data Sharing

Cue does not sell the content you provide for task analysis.

Content processed for task analysis is not sent to Cue-operated servers.

Information is transferred to another app only when required by a feature you choose to use, such as exporting a task to Apple Reminders, Things, OmniFocus, or copying it to the clipboard.

11. Data Retention

Content provided to Cue for task analysis is processed on your device.

If information is transferred to another app at your request, retention within that app is controlled by the respective app and its policies.

12. Your Choices and Control

You control which content you provide to Cue and which suggested tasks you export.

Before exporting, you can review the tasks Cue suggests and modify or remove them.

You can also control permissions and certain privacy settings through the settings provided by iOS.

13. Children's Privacy

Cue is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

14. International Users and Your Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may give you certain rights regarding your personal data.

Because Cue's task-analysis functionality processes the content you provide on your device rather than on Cue-operated servers, Cue may not possess the content to which such a request relates.

For questions or requests concerning personal data that is actually held by onthr.ee - André Goldmann, contact policy@baskett.app.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Cue changes or when legal requirements make an update necessary.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy. If a change materially affects how we handle personal data, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
